Euthanasia: Should doctors intervene at the end of
life?
[ send me this report ]
(6 pp) The most recent world issue (4/10/01)
concerning this most sensitive subject is from
April 10 of this year (2001), when The Hague in
the Netherlands voted to legalize euthanasia.
The seventy-five seat chamber of government, with
one absence, voted 46 in favor and 28 opposed to
the legislation, making it the first nation in the
world to legalize euthanasia. But whether it is
legal in one country or the world, the basic
question still remains, "should" doctors intervene
at the end of life? The word euthanasia
according to the standard Webster is really made
up of three words: gentle, easy, and death.

Promoting road safety is the function of speed limit restrictions both on the highway and on surface streets, however, these specifications are routinely ignored by motorists who are either perpetually late, intoxicated or are merely the type of drivers who pay no regard to the law. Despite the reason, statistics clearly show that excessive driving speeds are instrumental in effecting road fatalities. Bibliography lists 5 sources.

This is a 4 page paper outlining faulty arguments used by opponents of same-sex marriages. Arguments used by opponents of same-sex marriages are often faulty in that they appeal to prejudice, pity, and traditional marriage while at the same time attack the character of their opponents, present false dilemmas and beg to question the issue in order to draw the attention away from some of the real issues being argued.
